Step-by-step installation and configuration instructions
You need to complete steps 1 to 7 in order to install the HortiMaX-Go!. You then need to complete steps 8 to 14 in order to carry out the configuration.

Unpack the required materials and check for defects. |

Examine the descriptions included with the equipment. |

Assign addresses to all Smart Switches using the instructions provided on the address list, zone and product stickers. |

Install the motor control boxes (MCBs), and then mount the Smart Switches in the desired locations. |

Use the bus cable (type: UTP Cat5e AWG24 cable) to connect the Smart Switches and the controller in series. Install terminal resistors on the first Smart Switch and the last one. |

Connect the DC24V power supply (or supplies). Then interconnect the DC24V- of each power supply, and connect this to the ground (earth) terminal. |

Activate the HortiMaX-Go! and the Smart Switches by switching the supply voltage on. |

When the HortiMaX-Go! is configured for the first time, the display will show start menu. Select the desired language and unit of measurement. Tap confirm ‘'. |

On the scanning screen, tap the Scan button ‘'. The system will detect the connected Smart Switches automatically. |

Check whether all the connected Smart Switches are in the address list and there are no address conflicts or other problems. |

Disable any valves and start contacts that are not connected, then disable any valve groups that are not required. |

Configure the system settings, such as location, time and IP address. |
13 |
Configure all the connected 'open-close' systems by entering the required settings, such as the run times and opening directions. |
14 |
Calibrate the EC and pH sensors using the calibration solution provided. Follow the instructions on the display. |
